I am new to Minnesota but not to teaching! I’ve been teaching kindergarten and first grade in Florida for 25 years. 
 

I reside in Bayport along with my husband, Tyler and daughter, Tina, 14. Tina will be a freshman at Stillwater High school. My daughter Olivia, 18, plays soccer at Pensacola State College in Florida.  My son Owen, 22, is a Navy SeaBee stationed in Gulfport, Mississippi.  We also have a Golden doodle Odin and cat, Floki. 
 

I am so excited to start my next chapter here at New Heights. My classroom will always be a calming welcoming place, where kindness and respect are paramount!  Creating a space where my students feel safe, valued, and respected is foundational for both academic and social-emotional development.
