Lancer Dining Services

Lancer Dining Services is proud to be providing nutritious and satisfying meals to the students of New Heights School for the 2019-2020 school year.  For those of you not familiar with our company we want to give you a brief description of who we are and what drives our passion to prepare and serve meals to your children.

Lancer is an independently owned and Minnesota-based company.  We’ve been in business since 1976 and we’re proud to say that we serve meals to more than 110 schools and child care centers in the Twin Cities. You may also recognize us as the folks who make and prepare the food at some of the most popular family destinations in the Twin Cities including Como Zoo, Minnesota Zoo, Science Museum of Minnesota and many others.

We believe that that the simple act of breaking bread together is a celebration of human fellowship.  Even at a young age, the ritual of sharing a meal with others is an essential component of a strong and vibrant social community.  All of our meals are made fresh daily by the chefs in our Eagan production kitchen before being delivered to your school.

At Lancer, our day starts at 5am when our first production team sets to work with fresh and frozen (never canned!) fruits and vegetables, whole grain pastas, rice or fresh bread and a variety of proteins. We work hard throughout the early morning hours to prepare hot entrees, portion fresh vegetables and fruits and assemble snacks to be delivered to our partner schools.

Our culinary team works hard to create a menu which includes a variety of meal options which may entice your child to try some new and exciting foods as well as many familiar favorites. Lancer believes in sourcing our products locally as much as we are able. We work with Pan-O-Gold Bakery to receive breads baked in their St. Cloud or Sun Prairie, WI bakeries. Our dairy products come from Hasting Cooperative Creamery in Hastings, MN.  We also source many different local fruits and vegetables during the Minnesota growing season.

All nutrition information for our menus is available by contacting your school lunch administrator. If your child has special dietary needs, please contact your administrator as well to discuss what options are available. You may also learn more about our healthy school meals online at dining.lancerhospitality.com.
