Noelle Geyer
English

My name is Noelle Geyer. I graduated from Hamline University in Saint Paul in 2015 with a degree in English and Secondary Education. I previously taught at Saint Thomas Academy and New Ulm High School, where I focused on teaching writing and grammar mechanics, along with classical and non-classical literature.
As an educator, I am driven to inspire students toward literature of all kinds, and believe in teaching critical thinking skills alongside a strong writing-based curriculum.
I grew up in southern Minnesota. I am interested in a wide variety of extracurricular activities. I have played and coached Ultimate Frisbee, I play non-competitive disc golf, and I will occasionally partake in a League of Legends game. As an English teacher, I obviously fill any extra time I have reading, writing, or hanging out with my cats, who are named after two of my favorite authors: Margaret Atwood and James Baldwin.
