I am honored and privileged to be a part of the New Heights family and to have the opportunity to revive the spirit of the visual arts back into the New Heights curricular framework. My goal is to create an art program that the scholar’s of New Heights will be proud to be apart of. Teaching scholar’s the process of creative thinking and problem solving when faced with adversity and everyday obstacles is a mission that I am very passionate about. The process of creating visual art is one that goes much deeper than technical skill and craft. There are many valuable lessons that can be taught which are transferable to many facets of life. It is my goal to instill these lessons onto scholar’s.
