I can hardly believe that I have been working as a school psychologist for the past 13 years! My post-secondary education started at Gustavus Adolphus in St. Peter, MN followed by graduate work at the University of Wisconsin-River Falls. I began my career working in the Hopkins School District where I stayed until offered a position within the Stillwater School District. Given that I lived in the area and had recently had my first child, Alexander, I couldn’t pass up the opportunity to work closer to home. My daughter, Adelyn, was born a few years later.

Two years ago I had the pleasure of also joining the fabulous staff at New Heights. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with the talented staff and wonderful students here at New Heights. I have been pleased to observe the connection that teachers make with the students and the level of respect towards others that is expected of everyone. Given my position, I also appreciate that the staff here readily make accommodations for our students. I enjoy the work I do because it allows me the chance to work with a variety of students for many different reasons.
