The K-2 class will be going to the Hugo Animal Farm on Tuesday, October 28th for most of the day.  We will be seeing and petting the animals on the farm (our next unit), making scarecrows, going on a hayride to the pumpkin patch to choose a pumpkin to take home, and going through a cornmaze!  The students need to bring a bag lunch and drink, and the fee.  We need parent drivers/chaperones for this fieldtrip!  Looking forward to a great Fall fieldtrip!!!

We will be finishing up our transportation unit at the end of this month.  We have learned about all types of transportation and how lucky we are to have such a variety to use!  We also really enjoyed our Stillwater Trolley ride... finding out about our city, and riding a mode of transportation from the past!

On Friday, October 31st, K-6 will be celebrating Halloween !  Please send your child's costume in their backpack so that s/he can change into it after lunch for trick-or-treating  around the school.  We will be having fun activites all day, and you are welcome to share it with us!
