I am excited to start my second year here at New Heights and my fifth year teaching. I am teaching science to all grade 7 through 12 students. I am always hard at work to make the sciences relevant and interesting to all my students.

I am originally from North Dakota but came to Minnesota for college at the University of Minnesota Morris. I graduated with a BA in Biology and my Science teaching license. I enjoyed Minnesota so much that I stayed in this state to teach. I am currently finishing up my masters of arts degree at Hamline University in Natural Sciences and Environmental Education.

I greatly enjoy teaching at New Heights. The small school and small class sizes are a wonderful way to get to know my students. I am looking forward to another successful year! Feel free to contact me by email if you have any comments or questions.
