About Me:
This year will be my third at New Heights School and my sixth year teaching in a combined aged/leveled classroom. I always knew I wanted to be a teacher and feel at home when I am in the classroom. I enjoy my very busy life outside of school. When I am not chasing after my toddler, I am enjoying the outdoors: hiking, walking, rollerblading, golfing, scuba diving, skiing, and much more. I also love to scrapbook, read and play board games. My family is located all around Northern Minnesota and Nevada, which gives me an excuse to travel over breaks.
About My Educational Background:
I graduated from Redwood Valley High School in Redwood Falls. I then completed my general education in Duluth before transferring to Bemidji State University’s Education Program. I graduated Magna Cum Laude with my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education with a Minor in Pre-Primary Education (Age 3 to K). I love learning and believe strongly that it is a life-long process. I always try to take advantage of any program to help myself be a great teacher for all of my students.
