A little about myself…
I began my educational journey in Milwaukee, WI at Cardinal Stritch University where I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and my Special Education Certification. For two years, I worked in Hudson, WI, teaching students with Emotional and Behavioral Disabilities. I have also been a part-time instructor at Sylvan Learning Center for 5 years. This is my fourth year at New Heights School. My teaching positions have ranged between Kindergarten and 8th grade, in areas of general education and special education. Through these experiences, I have learned how to work with various classroom challenges and how to teach all types and levels of learners.
My favorite hobbies include: reading, crafting, photography, spending time with my husband and dogs as well as traveling.
I am looking forward to working with both new and veteran students this year. The elementary staff has worked hard to prepare a year that is filled with learning through activities and experiences.
I feel at home when I am at New Heights; I hope you and your family feel the same.
Let a new year begin!
