I am now beginning my 3rd year teaching at New Heights School, as an enthusiastic math teacher with a special fondness for algebra and real world math applications. I have an interesting background career in water resources and environmental engineering. For that reason, I see the transfer of classroom math to real world math and science as a direct connection. I am very excited about math and have a caring approach with the students.

This year marks a big change for me as I shift away from middle school grades toward the high school level classes. I will be teaching grades 8, 9, 10, & 11 this year and am looking forward to the new challenges that will come. Although many students will be new to me, I am also pleased to have the opportunity to work once again with some of my past students.
